Do not re-enter a smoky, burning or structurally unsafe space to collect belongings.
Give the exact address, floor or unit, what is burning if known, and whether anyone may be inside.
Report burns, smoke exposure or other medical emergencies separately so medical help can be coordinated.
Use 191 when there is an immediate threat that needs police response.
At a hotel, apartment or venue, follow staff evacuation instructions and use the designated assembly point. A building alarm, extinguisher or posted escape map is not proof that a situation is safe; follow the responding authorities.
