DLT has a legal framework for app-arranged hired cars
The Department of Land Transport Legal Office publishes the framework for cars hired through electronic systems. The framework does not prove that an individual trip, driver or vehicle complies.

A Royal Thai Government report dated 30 June 2026 names Grab, Bolt and inDrive among companies signing a DLT-backed compliance and service-standard agreement. Participation is not blanket certification of every driver, vehicle, city or trip.

Suvarnabhumi publishes a Grab-specific arrangement
Suvarnabhumi Airport publishes designated Grab service information for BKK. It supports only the named provider at that airport; exact pickup point, service type, hour and fare handling require a same-day check.
