TDAC is the online arrival card, not a visa

The Thailand Immigration Bureau manual describes TDAC as the online arrival-card system replacing the paper arrival card and states that it is not a visa. Visa eligibility and admission remain separate decisions.

Source scope: Official arrival-card process; not a visa, eligibility decision or promise of admission.

The system covers foreign arrivals by air, land and sea, with exceptions

The official manual describes TDAC for foreign nationals entering by air, land or sea. The current FAQ separately addresses transit, technical landings and crew, so do not simplify the rule to 'everyone'.

Source scope: Current Immigration FAQ controls exceptions; an individual traveler must check the live text.

The current submission window is three days including arrival day

The official FAQ checked on 24 August 2026 says TDAC may be submitted within three days before arrival, including the arrival date. This timing is operational and must be rechecked immediately before travel.

Source scope: Current timing instruction as checked; revalidate within seven days and immediately before travel.

The official service currently identifies no fee

The Immigration Bureau's official application service currently states that TDAC submission has no fee. Use the exact tdac.immigration.go.th domain; this does not endorse or require a third-party assistance service.
